Reporting to the Director, Brand & Research, responsibilities included: brand stewardship across all brand touch points, reporting on marketing metrics and acted as internal expert on digital trends and best practices

  • Ensured effective and strategic application of VEC brand across all key touch points, including web, social media, research publications, email marketing, print, and events
  • Implemented a welcome flow for the VEC newsletter that increased open rates by 10%
  • Lead designer for 10 editions of the Vancouver Economy Report, a data-driven look into Vancouver's economic performance, 3x a year.

Reporting to the Director, Brand & Research, responsibilities included: lead designer; website management; event & logistics support

  • Managed the design and development of the Project Greenlight website, which attracted 350 new user signups in it's first two years with a conversion rate of 50%
  • In partnership with Director, completed and launched a brand refresh across all digital platforms that addressed key brand weaknesses 
  • Established new reporting templates for web and social media that enabled wider marketing team to consistently report on monthly KPIs
  • Designed and delivered a marketing campaign for the annual Vancouver Digital Entertainment career fair that attracted 3,500 job seekers

Much of the work I do in supporting local organizations occurs on the unceeded lands of many nations including the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), səĺilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem) people which are now also home to First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. As work commonly happens both remotely and in-person, land acknowledgements allow us to engage in ongoing reconciliation by reflecting on individual connection with and responsibility to the land.
